Testing Your Internet Access Speed

Here are some sites I've used to test the upstream and downstream speeds of Internet connections. The most important thing to consider is whether you are satisfied with your Internet connection speed. If it doesn't feel fast enough for you, than these sites will help you gather some information to discuss with your Internet Service Provider and assess your options.

Note: Sometimes a firewall on your PC will interfere with the speed test, and you may need to temporarily disable it to get an accurate reading.
